CEDAW sternly reprimands Luxembourg and Chile for IGM practices!

YAY!! Today is a good day for intersex
human rights, as the Committee on the Elimination of
Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) published its Concluding
Observations with binding recommendations to the State parties – including
stern reprimands for Intersex Genital Mutilations for 2 of the examined States,
raising the total number of UN reprimands for IGM to no less
than 31:
Luxembourg received its first reprimand, making it the 11th
European state reprimanded.
